Subject: Re: Why did I load CL GUI PROMPTING?!!!!!!

Hi Chris,

Due to some changes that were made in SP5, the CL GUI prompting download
messes up column sensitive editing as you encountered.
If you installed SP5 and then downloaded the CLGUI prompting patch, do the
following:

rename C:\WDT400\SYSTEM\L4CODE.DLL to something else (this is the DLL
that was just downloaded for CLGUI prompting)
rename C:\WDT400\SYSTEM\L4CODE.DLL.CLGUI (created during the backup
step, should be the SP5 DLL) to C:\WDT400\SYSTEM\L4CODE.DLL

I know we said it was an 'asis' patch but this once, I will change the
patch that is on the web and send another note to this mailing list when it
is done. In the meantime, my suggestion will get everything up and
running properly.

Hi all,

Well, after installing WDT 5.1 and SP5 on my new PC I thought I would go
ahead and load the CL GUI prompting. Big mistake!!! Now my column sensitive
editing doesn't work and it won't stay checked! In fact, when I try to
select the menu item it the "Websphere Development Tools" banner page comes
up!!!! Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so, can I get the
#&@*$%&#%* thing to work????? ;-)

Thanks for any help!

Chris
