If you use PDM on your 400 you can open multiple by creating a user defined
option.  I use CE and have some code behind it that opens a member for edit
in CODE.   Then you can place the  CE option on multiple members.  This
assumes that you have a STRCODE program/server running.  They will all be
opened using CODE for editing.  If you need the commands for the code, they
have been posted _many_ times.  I'm answering this from home and can't get
to the 400.  The code is also different on the 400 for V4R5 and V5R1 for
OS/400.
