Thanks Claus.

Apparently that's what the import screen function did, but left the name the
same so I got definition mismatch errors.  I should have looked deeper and
noticed the workaround myself.  My frustration is getting to me...

Hi Tom,
a workaround would be, to specify a Character field in the GUI window for
each timestamp field  and before you write to the window have  MOVEL's
from the Timestamp fields  into these character fields.
