I decided to try VARPG. I picked a nice little program; couple of SFL's,
couple of full screen displays and a bunch of little windows. All display
only stuff. Standalone code.

I imported my DSPF into VARPG, built the necessary windows, modified them
extensively (since green on black is the system default for green screens,
why doesn't VARPG translate that to the system default for the imports?),
got everything squared away enough to work.

Moved on to what I thought the easy part would be... the RPG. Used
Code/400 to copy my source file and pasted it into the VARPG Code/400 source
editor member... figured there would be some issues like the "Remote" for
files, etc... worked my way down through the yellow lines to my nice little
sub-procedure based program... which is written in RPG Free. And, Toronto
we have a problem. No /free for VARPG? Yet, perhaps? Soon? Do I need to
rewrite this thing in columnar RPG IV? Or did I miss something? (I hope!)
Any guidance you can offer will be appreciated.
