Hi Dave,

Distributed Debugger does STRSRVJOB and STRDBG on the job that you are
debugging.
'Terminate' button closes the Distributed Debugger which in turn does
ENDDBG and ENDSRVJOB,
and releases user's program.

Hence, Debugger does not provide any controls to 'terminate' the program.

Is there a way to 'Terminate' the program?

Hi Dave,

You are correct, 'Terminate' program stops the debugger, but allows the
program to run to completion.

Subject: DE'BUGGER - Terminate Program

Hi All,

I may be missing something here...

In ISDB, I could stop a program I was debugging, and it would not execute
another line of code.

Can I do the same in the Distributed Debugger? Chosing Terminate Program
basically just stops the debugger and lets the program run to
completion....

Is this how it is supposed to work?

TIA,
Dave
