Thanks for the info, Claude, but I clicked on the run button in the GUI
designer and nothing happened. If I do the Win95 compile (I think it's
called), it works just fine. Could there be something in my setup that is
causing it not to run?
I will look at the readme and the VARPG newsgroup. Thanks for the help!

Chris

Subject: Re: VARPG question...... Running a Java application.

Hi Chris,
to run the VARPG JAVA app from the GUI designer, there is a JAVA run
button beside the Win run button.
That should work in the designer environment.
If you want to run it as an applet, I suggest to go into the build options
under the project menu item in the GUI designer.
Select the JAVA build options.
In the dialog fill in the entry field in the applet area, put your web
server directory in there from where you want to serve this applet.
VARPG will then, at JAVA built time, also generate a skeleton html page
that includes the applet tag to invoke the applet. By requesting this page
in your browser, the applet gets loaded in your browser.
Also if you want to run the VARPG app as an applet you need to get the JAVA
Plug in 1.2, the international version before the browser can run the
applet.
There are some tips for this in the WDT README, also in the VARPG Newsgroup
we had a couple of threads covering this topic.
