Well, there is no CMNTYPE parameter in our V4R1 STRCODE command. The remote
location name is insufficient for a TCP/IP address and I can find no PTFs
for V4R1 on the IBM web site related to CODE/400. Of course, I might not
have been looking in the right place, but I saw plenty for versions prior to
and after V4R1.

Thanks anyway.

The oldest AS/400 I can find is at V4R2, and it has CMNTYPE
and room for the IP address if I press F9. Maybe you haven't got the right
PTFs loaded on the 400.
