When I use windowpos, it seems to ignore the 1st 2 parameters (which I
assume are the top left coordinates).  It always positions the window in the
bottom left corner of the screen...

What am I missing?

Rob, I gave up long ago worrying about that.
I have profile.lx in my own macro directory with the following line:
set windowpos 15 80 875 675
