Debug Server and client port numbers

Hi Morgan,

At least one Q5BWHSRV job should be around in the QSYSWRK subsystem if
debug
server is started properly.
However, as I mentioned before, these are Prestart Jobs that will be in
PSRW state (untill
the are actually servicing your debug client). Therefore, they will not
show on WRKACTJOB
untill you press F14 key.

By the way, it turns out that client debug ports could be created anywhere
in the range of
1024 - 5000.
On my NT box they are usually created within 1024 - 1100, but I think it
depends on how
many ports are currently in use on your machine.

Can anyone answer this?

For the distributed debugger, if the job, QSYSJOBD, with a status of
PGM-Q5BROUTE, is running.  When a connection is made to it is that when
the job Q5BWHSRV is started?

Or will Q5BWHSRV already be there (prior to connection) if the debug
server is started properly?
