Michele,

I installed V5R1 over an existing V4R5. After that I installed SP3. I
did a selective install of just Code/400 and WS Studio. I hate to
have to go through the drudgery of re-installing without knowing
why it is broken.

David,

If you do not have the RPGLE400.LXL file in \WDT400\MACROS, then that
would
explain why it does not
treat the file properly. What release are you on? Could someone have
possibly deleted this on you?

Group,

After installing Code/400 only, I tried editing an RPGIV file and
Code/400 treats the file as though it were plain ascii text. I am not
sure what is causing this, but the macros directory does not have an
RPGLE400.lxl file. It does have some lxl files.

Thanks,

David Morris
