Hi Brian,

Is this in codeedit? If so can't you set "selection, if exists" in the
options and have the function you desire? Or are you thinking of
something else?

Subject: Pop-up Menu - Find Selection

Hello all,

Can someone please inform me of the name of the macro or command that is
being executed whenever you click on the "Find selection" item on the
pop-up
menu? I'm wanting create a macro that will first test for any text
selected
and if found will execute this "Find selection" function or if no text is
selected it will execute the LP_FINDCHANGE function to prompt for the
search
string. I will then tie this macro to the <Ctrl+F> key.

TIA,

Brian
