I have not been that lucky to have a linux workstation up long enough to try
anything under VMWare. I have linux running in VMWare for Windows but never
really used enough or got it configured enough to use it. You can download a
free trial and check it out yourself.

Mike, have you tried CODE in a VMWare guest Windows OS; if so, which WinOS?
Any thoughts on which WinOS would work "best"?

VMWare (http://www.vmware.com) is a virtual machine. You can run other
operating systems within the virtual machine. If you are running linux as a
base and want to use or test some MS things, you can use this for it and not
have to dual boot. It does have hefty system requirements, at least 128 MB
(recommended 256 or more) of RAM, but it works good, and gives you a "test
box" without the box.

<end sales pitch>

No, I am not affiliated with it in any way. Just a user of the trial
version.

Mike

Does VMWare allow you to run Microsoft things on Linux?

Good Day All,
Do we know when CODE will be moved into the WebSphere Studio Application
Developer?
Is anyone running CODE in VMWare on a Linux box? Is it fast enough?
Thanks, Don.
