Hi Jim,

If you have setup a CPO for the source file you want the members from, you
can just highlight those you want, right click, and select get from host.
This will cause the project organizer to put the members in whatever folder
you've designated for the project. However, I believe, if you use the
project organizer it will not allow you verify your code. Can someone else
validate or dispute that statement. It seemed to me that the supporting
objects are only copied (if the caching box is checked) if written to local
from codeedit. I hope this somewhat helps, Jim. You can select a ton of
members by holding down the shift key. Hopefully, the member names are not
all over the place! Good luck!

Chris

Subject: Copy source from iSeries to laptop

I am looking for a way to copy about 200 source file members of all types,
(DDS, CLP, COBOL, RPG...) to my laptop without having to open each one
individually, and do a Save As on it. Due to naming conventions, there
will not be any conflict in member names. I don't use most of the power
of Code because I haven't needed to yet, so many of the tricks are foreign
to me. There is no mention that I can find in manuals regarding a mass
copy.

Any ideas?
