*Notice to all you custom macro people *
The editor has support for you to provide language-specific customization.
This is to use .LXU files (i.e. RPGLE400.LXU for RPGLE400.LXL). We don't
ship any language specific .LXU files so you can create your own which we
will not overwrite with a service pack.

Here are two links to help on the subject.

Subject: Re: SP3 prompting gone? -important solution!

Hak Lui from IBM and I have been trying to discover why I lost prompting on
SP3. Hak Lui, an apparent genius, after doing all kinds of file version
confirms asked me to send what directory my macros were coming from.

*Notice to all you custom macro people *
If you copied any of the standard .LXL files to a custom directory and
redirected CODE to look there first for its information you may be
overriding newer files supplied by SP3. I, for example, copied the
RPGLE400.LXL to my custom macro directory where I made some changes. When
SP3 was installed I suddenly lost prompting, having forgotten about my
copied files I blamed SP3. But, the problem was a newer version of
RPGLE400.LXL was required for CODE and I was still using the old version
via my custom files. Its just like overriding a file, an AS400 programmer
ought to know better.

Thanks Hak Lui and the staff at IBM

Darren:

what is the OS you are on?
Could you please send us the time stamp of the followings in you installed
directory:
     system\l4ilepar.dll and
     macros\rpgle400.lxl ?
Are you using VRPG server or STRCODE?

Thanks!
