Phil,

What did you specify in the server field? It is expecting just the server
name, no angle brackets. Also, the server name must be the same as the
hostname of the server.

The purpose of this is so that you can edit files on the IFS without having
to share the drive.

I have never tried this before but thought - hey, things have been working
good for a couple weeks so it's time to flirt with the unknown.

I get "unable to connect to as/400" and when I click ok, the message box
says:

EVF2102 RC=32751

and the text is

Host server name <NS not defined.

Where's the ">" ? Is that why it's not defined?

I have V4R5M1 SP1

This isn't a feature I use so if you have no idea what's going on don't
worry about it. But if there's something I've missed or a known problem,
please let me know.

Also, how does this work with Netserver? Is it like OpsNav where a drive
doesn't have to be shared for me to see it or does it need to be shared
first?

Phil
