Re: Code/400 VRPG CBA

We used the product during our y2k project and were able to automate
changes by extending the functionality of code/400 with features called
macros.  We calculated that having done this we saved 2.5 million dollars!
FYI, our macros were presented by the code/400 team at common in San Fran
in March of 1999.

Hope that helps show the potential of this product.

Hi Claus,

I've been asked to do a cost benefit analysis on using code/400 for
development and present it to our organization.
Do you or anybody else, (maybe someone done it already) know where I can
get
some material to help me.
For example I need,
Comparisons to the normal PDM environment,
How much quicker can a developer get to grips with a program when using
Code/400,
Coding mistake/error difference, ie. is developer prone to write better
code.
The difference online help makes, (does it), etc.
