Hi Rick, I stand to be corrected we allow To From in these DS's, here is
the answer from our developer:
==========================================================================================================================
Actually, even in the first release of Java, we do allow the to/from
notation for the INFDS and PSDS, however we are very strict about the field
definitions. They have to be as documented in the reference manual.
Sometimes programmers use char instead of zoned, and vice versa, but we
can't handle that in Java because we are using proper objects. Because of
this, it's possible that he will still get the errors even if he removes
the to/from notation, if his fields are defined as the wrong type. We've
tried to be as flexible as we can and so we do handle zoned and char for
the commonly used fields (like status), but for fields that aren't often
used, that flexibility isn't there.

(So when advising customers on coding style if they want to position their
Windows app for Java generation, one piece of advice would be to define
their INFDS and PSDS as documented in the reference manual)

In the next release, with the OVERLAY restriction lifted, they will be able
to use the to/from notation everywhere , but the strictness about the field
definitions in the INFDS/PSDS will remain.

If he changes his definition ot match the reference and still gets
diagnostics, we would need to look at his project.
