All,

Can anyone shed any light on the memory management functions within ILE C++
(V4R4). Specifically how they obtain storage from the ILE C++ fast heap.

The main question I need answer is:

If I malloc a size that is greater than the fast heap, what is the result
within the application? Will this be transparent and just obtain memory from
the main store?

Also is there any known issues with malloc on the OS400?

Thanks

Tom.
