The use of the sequence number has not changed in any version of BPCS/LX. Yes it used to control the displaying of transactions in INV300.

Didn't see an answer but I am "cleaning" out my email.

It may do more; but what we use it as a sort key in inv300 (I think it
is f10) to show the order in which transactions are received in ITH...
Date and time does not always work....
