Where on 4.05CD, but I believe this works the same for all other
releases...

1-6 is next fiscal year (GPD1, GPD2,... GPC1, GPC2,...)
7-20 is current fiscal year
21-34 is last fiscal year

Subject: [BPCS-L] G/L Master fields?

BPCS Version 4.02

Can anybody explain to me how the "period" fields in the G/L Master file
(GGM) work? Specifically, the GPDx and GPCx debit and credit fields.
There are 34 of each. We operate on 12 fiscal periods per year yet
there is data in pretty much all 34 of them. Is it a rolling 12 months?
We are currently in period 3 of 2005 but if I wanted to find the debit
and credit balances of period 8 (August) of 2005 would that be in
GPD8/GPC8 or somewhere else? So far I can't make sense of them.
Thanks.
