Stay on BPCS 405CD and our AS/400 model 170 as long as we can.

It is a good ERP, very stable.
I looked at over 1,000 other ERP (because we were not happy with BPCS/36 on the eve of Y2K remediation) before explaining to my boss and co-workers that this was the best of all possible ERP worlds available to us. I have looked at several others beyond what we now have, leaning towards non-commercial software such as open source ERP and other models (because our problems are not with the software but with the vendor model), but that is for the long term future to be aware of what alternatives are out there if we ever do have to consider a future move.

The current reality is no non-essential spending, try to survive this recession which started for us before 9/11 then got worse.

Not moving. Staying on BPCS 4.05CD till they close the doors (Sept. 30 - no
lie)

By a show of hands, are any firms looking to actually move off of BPCS or are the majority of you looking to stay on BPCS?

Just a quick survey.....
