Anton;

For a number of BPCS AS/400 versions, the files you are interested in are ZSC and ZX3. The first one gives you access to what modules, companies, transactions, and warehouses a given user has access to.

The ZX3 file we use for all our internal audits as they show by user, what specific BPCS programs that person can run. We take the "Deny all access" approach, so the module flag to be able to access all programs for a given module is turned off. Based on that, the ZX3 file gives us the specific programs a user has access to.

The above files do not give you the user name. Only the As/400 user id. If you want to also show the name of the person and may be other AS/400 profile-specific attributes, I would recommend to create a file with the DSPUSRPRF command (that is instead of a report or seeing it on screen). You can then link this file (via AS/400 query or any other tool) with the above those files to show BPCS-specific settings as well as the AS/400 level user access rights.

I hope this helps.

Guys..

Is there a way or a tool to get all the security related
permission on BPCS?

Im trying to find out to what pgms each user has access (like
parsing the zsc file) and also, to what external programs they
have access thru menu maintenance/aditional menus/not core menus?

Is there such a toold for this or a way to get a compelte report
as to what a user has access to or a reports that shows who has
access to each program?

Thx for your help.
