Okay that makes sense. So just to clarify, MRP will use the system default
values in MRP820D under the heading "other" for planning if the order policy
is NOT "K" and there are no override demand codes in either MRP140 or
INV100.

I do not have any "K" items in my system so I should be able to try this
again tonight.

If planning by Facility, BPCS is going to use the data in MRP140.  The
vaules shown in MRP820 are system defaults.  These will only be used it
there are no values in the Item Master and Facilty Planning Data.  BPCS
will look in Facility Planning Data first, if know value is found it will
then look in the Item Master, if that value is blank it will then use the
value in MRP820
