Warm greetings to each of you ....

Unbeaten Path has a pay-as-you-need-it support alternative
for any version of BPCS, including customized code. It's called
NoExcuses HelpLine and the retainer is only US$200. Here's a
link for more information:

      http://www.unbeatenpathintl.com/noexcuses.html

Most of our NoExcuses customers have only a handful of BPCS
problems a year ... and many end up spending not more than
$350 - $750 in fees during a twelve month period to obtain the
the expert support needed to keep their BPCS users happy.

Please give me a call if you'd like to discuss some fresh insights
on the CPU key subject.

Warmest regards and God bless,

Milt Habeck

The Model Number and the Serial Number of the AS/400 are built into the
BPCS Key. However, for certain upgrades, IBM can transfer the Serial Number
from the
old AS/400 to the new upgrade and they take away the old AS/400. If you can
arange this the Key should be OK

They are even charging for temporary keys for disaster recovery testing. We
just did a disaster recover test and could not test BPCS because of the
price they wanted for the temporary key.

What's everyone think about the new OGS pricing schematics. If you
have not seen them, here you go:

------ 1 YEAR Option -------
18% = Keys, Phone Support, OGS On-Line, BMRs, Updates, Upgrades
12% = Keys, Phone Support, OGS On-Line, BMRs
 9% = Keys, Phone Support
 6% = Keys

They are now charging for keys? How is this being justified?
