from Al Mac.

SSAX also sent me their complete e-mailing list again.
IBM Ed did that a few weeks ago.
And no, I am not going to forward this to some consultant or user group that
is into e-dumpster diving.
I think all the different internet protocols are confusing people who use one
particular kind & do not know what is really visible via other protocols,
especially in this new age of getting new stuff to the internet is more
important than security considerations.. Perhaps they need "message police"
on the way out ... do you really want to give all your customer addresses to
one of the customers?

Not the identical problem ... MORE than 2 copies, perhaps even more than 4
... I suspect Dave's ISP went down again & lost track of what it had sent out
& resent whatever was in its queue. I believe we had this happen not so long
ago on another of David's lists - it happens - the internet just is not as
stable as an AS/400.

Another possibility is the traffic got stopped due to a certain out-of-office
problem, in which some repairs might have been possible to prevent us from
getting thousands of extra copies of just one guy's responses, ant then there
was lost track of where to restart.
