We are currently runnng 6.1 Mix mode on a 9406 e620  2182   2 way processor and have no problems like your mentioning.  Sounds like some logicals or some fine tuning needs to be done on your box.  We are upgrading to a new eserver 730 but not really due to performance issues.  Good luck.

   Hello everyone,

We are currently running the BPCS 6.1 mixed mode version on our
AS/400.  We have approx. 20 - 25 users and experiencing very slow
response times, locally and at our remote location -- 8 to 20 minutes
to enter one order is an example.

We have already added more hard drives and memory.

I have talked with IBM and they see no problems with memory or hard disks.

I have talked with SSA they recommended to upgrade the processor.  But
   to which one?

We are looking into upgrading our 2175 model 620, but would like to
hear from someone who is already running the same BPCS 6.1 mm
version, and what AS/400 is working good for them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  It will sure make our users
happier.

   Sandy
