Can anyone advise me if there is a way to error trap a command in QCMDEXC. I
know this is not a BPCS question but hope there is some help out there
anyway.

My program goes like this:

I am building a subfile to display different owners of objects in a library.
Should the user wish to change any owners that are not SSA for example to
SSA, I build a command like this using an ARRAY,

CHGOBJOWN OBJ(xxx/xxx) OBJTYP (xxx) NEWOWN(xxxxxxxxxx) CUROWNAUT(*REVOKE)

where x is a varaible from a logical over a DSPOBJD outfile.

However should the user not have enough authority, the moment the program
crashes.

I want to exit with a message.

I know this could be done in CL but I want to do it this way if possible.
(...Personal reasons)

*PSSR does not pick up the error after including the FIDS in the I spec.
nor does IND 99 in the CALL

any takers...
