I had the same problem the first week of January, 1999. The year length in FRS
is two numeric positions. Maybe you can change the field length to 3 numeric
positions and keep the validation. The year 2000 will be interpreted as 100.

Don't know about anyone else but we just had our first Y2K blowup.

We're still on a very old version (2.1.07) but I thought I had 11.5
months to go.

Trying to run some reports in FRS, the year validation tests to make
sure that the reporting year is either last year, this year or next
year. So as of today, last year is 98, this year is 99 and next year is
00. Since 99 is not less than 00, it fails the screen validation and
won't submit the report.

So I commented out the validation to get the accounting people their
reports.

Anyone else have anything to report?
