We have been working very hard with Mike Macauley from I-Works software over
the last few days to get dcServ up and running in our environment. I am happy
to say that we are able to test our transactions at this time in our test
environment. What we are interested most in finding out at this time is how we
can automate the start and stop process of the dcServ processes and how we can
use MQSeries to submit transactions through BPCS for other applications. If
anyone has information relating to this please respond.

I have worked with DCserve and it had several shortcomings let alone
connection problems. I went live with a client in April and at the time it
was not compatible for much of 6.0. It did not do backflushing, write ITH
transactions correctly and also did not retrieve or give correct time
stamps. They said they would have a new release in June but I don't know
 what was on it.
