× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Pwrdwnsys does not necessarily take the system to a power off state.
Is your system controlled by an HMC? If so, there is an additional
step to get the system to power off. PWRDWNSYS only stops the
partition. My previous position we had one box with an HMC. We had to
sign on to the HMC to bring the rack to a power off state.
