Brian:

I'm curious about whether or not a delimited file can be imported into SQL 
Server at all. If you had a similar file on your SQL Server system, would you 
be able to do it?

It seems odd that there is no MS support for this, so I'm surprised you can't 
just use whatever MS provides and import through a network drive.
