Hi,

If all you want is the original spool file content, then copy from the
physical file to a print file that is CTLCHAR(*FCFC) either itself or by
means of OVRPRTF. Then you do not really need to know what the control
characters mean.

The '+' has come about where one line has been requested to be printed
without space after or skip after and the next line has been requested to be
printed without space before or skip before. 

This is sometimes done to achieve underline or bold with certain printers.
