There's two reasons you'd need to "install a certificate" to use SSL.

1) the server uses a certificate signed by a third party you don't trust.
2) the server requires you to identify yourself with a particular
certificate (aka "client certificate")

Reason #2 is unusual...

Which reason to you have?

Also note that Scott's HTTP API is supported on it's own list
