Luis

Thanks for your reply. I did see something about the CGIDEV2 Apache setup. We actually have our own command for setting up our server instances, so we would not be using that.

I'm actually taking advantage of the external HTML that CGIDEV2 lets you have. Our product currently has all the HTML inside the main RPG pro ram - very difficult to maintain or understand or change. This "new" approach will make things much better in the future.

I got a nice list from Kevin Turner - I think that's about all I need for now. Will go to the easy400 forum for more as I need it.

Vern

Vern,

I have done just a few applications done with CGIDEV2, so I'm not very sure
what would be the minimum requirements to distribute an app . One thing
that comes to mind, though, it is that when you install CGIDEV2 it creates
and modifies the Apache config files, so maybe that is something you
should be aware when installing your apps in different systems.

Giovanni Perotti, the founder of the www.easy400.net website, maintains a
very active (Yahoo!) group here:

Check it out. Giovanni is a very helpful guy and maybe you could get a more
complete answer to your needs.
