I found a|HostnameLookups On directive.  It didn't seem
to make a difference but it was a good guess!

Now I seem to recall a customer who was using Host Name Lookups in Apache, but had a firewall that was blocking it from accessing the Internet. I can't recall if we just set lookups off in Apache, or if they opened access in the firewall.

More people are writing IBM i applications that consume web services on the Internet, but sometimes there is tug and pull with network administrators who like to lock down that type of thing. Timeouts due to firewall blocks?
