That shows the forward momentum of HTML5, Sencha Touch, and mobile browser applications. But I don't get the references to the AT&T App Store, or how it might fit into the equation. I also question billing for applications through the AT&T phone bill. Based on comments at the blog site, others evidently share my lack of understanding. The AT&T developer site didn't answer my questions either. AT&T doesn't appear to have a cohesive message. It's all across the board.

The AT&T App Store appears to be geared toward native phone apps; primarily Android and Windows, as opposed to browser based apps. Browser apps are primarily server based, and require the resources of servers. It's not like you're going to find those types of resources on a mobile device.
