It's very true. There are several work arounds to this issue. If you use
Firefox, have each browser use a different profile. IE8+ has a feature
you can use to get around it.

Subject: [WEB400] Same session ID being used with more than one
browserinstance

I was recently informed that, in a CGIDEV environment, that if I have
two
browser instances active (both IE), and running the same "multi panel
program", on the same pc, that the session variables between the two
browsers could get corrupted (ie one session's variables could appear in

the other browser session). I was told this was due to newer browser
versions assigning the same session id to each open browser instance.

Anyone encounter this? Is it true?

Thanks, Jerry
