I don't know yet, but I am looking at all alternatives to Java-based XML processing to see how (or if) it can help us in dealing with XML-based data in the IFS.

The reason I look at non-Java based things is the overhead of starting a JVM. (Talking to an existing JVM is also something I'd like to avoid).
