My iPhone assumes that if I type "docs" I must mean "diva" :-)

Subject: Re: [WEB400] Apache AliasMatch

I didn't look at the apache diva Jon. I just fiddled around with an online POSIX regex tester. I assumed that ^ means the absolute start and $ meant the end. Did either of them work? They seemed to for me, but I may have misunderstood the requirement.

Regex baffles me too. I just spend ages fiddling around with a test tool using trial and error.

Third time lucky

ScriptAliasMatch ^/jonspgm$ /QSYS.LIB/JONS.LIB/JONSPGM.PGM
Or
ScriptAliasMatch (^/jonspgm$) /QSYS.LIB/JONS.LIB/$1.PGM

See this is where I get confused. From the Apache docs I thought that if I added the trailing $ then I was saying "followed by anything" and that would have produced the result I am seeing.

I hate regex!
