... when I commented out the debug statements it didn't work when I tried to
add the next plugin. When I put the debug statements back into play it is
working again. Very strange. Just wanted to post this to the archives in
case somebody else has the same issue.

As to your question, I am not sure how PASE and getmyuid works.
