Like that idea! Do I hear a call for an IBM Systems Director replacement?
:-) I am all for it.

ZendServer ships with something called Zend Navigator for i that has things
like active jobs, spool files, DB table viewer, etc. In my experience it is
VERY fast (at least much faster than IBM's Java equivalent). Maybe build on
that?
