I haven't gotten any response to the new error which is a linkage error:

Caused by: java.lang.LinkageError: org.glassfish.admin.rest.resources.generatedASM.DomainResource

Being on the IBM J9 JVM is a problem because folks assume that it is a JVM specific error and won't even attempt to respond. I am guessing this error IS JVM specific and might be fixed by building it from source. Unfortunately the build has dependencies on Maven and SVN and I don't really have time to go through the build process on both of those in PASE to get them to work. Both have RPM's that I might try but I have been down this slippery slope before.

I am hoping someone from Sun will pick up the ball and help me. I was amazed at their quick fix of the Transformer error. Maybe I can get a quick turn around here if I can just get someone attention.

Awesome! Thanks for the update Pete. This time I'm really going to take an
effort and look at this :-) I'm hoping maybe a few evenings this week or
this weekend I'll get a chance to check it out.

I just tried the latest Glassfish (3.1_b30) build and the Transformer
issue is gone. But I have another stack trace that seems to be related
to a login problem. I get the Admin Console login screen now, but the
the userid/password combination doesn't work. In fact, I am not even
supposed to *see* the login screen since I haven't changed the default
password.

Something is still broken with the Admin Console (but making incremental
progress none the less.....)
