What if the UI and back office are one in the same? That's the beauty
about RPGCGI programming on IBM i - there aren't tiers of technology
and servers. Simple architectures are on the rise. People are sick
of complexity.

Putting my pants on over my head (Microsoft UI in front of IBMi), I
can get my head through one pant leg with some light work, but the
battle is only half over, and I will spend the rest of my days trying
to get both arms and my body through, all the while wondering why I
didn't just start by putting on pants like a normal person.

It also depends on what you are trying to scale, the front office (UI) or the back office (inventory, sales...)
