You can run your PHP application on Linux or Windows, and connect to your V5R2 with the Toolkit. Then you'll be ready to move to IBM i after an OS upgrade, with no changes.

Well, my last IIRC was incorrect :-) Zend only goes back to V5R3.

That said, maybe your only option is to write your own API toolkit.

Hi Luis, the release of my system is v5r2. Cannot found a Zend Core for

What's the IIRC?

First, let me answer you in English, as that is the Forum's official
language and it would not be courteous to subject other forum members
to
a
foreign language.

If not being able to use Bryan's solution (which requires ZEND, I
believe),
you could use, as Raul suggested in another post, the EASY400's
routines.
They are very easy to use and come with full source code. There is no
(IIRC)
a spool to .XLS option (as that would be a lot trickier) but maybe you
could
roll your own, according to your needs.

What release is your system at? You can install Zend Core with V5R3 and
even
(again, IIRC) with V5R2...

Hi,

In the default home page of Zend Core there are references to the
PHP
Toolkit API as well as a Navigator Demo, with the features you
mention
(spool files access, PDF output, etc.)
