Well,

just count how many references to dotCOM's from companies that charge you
for their services
and product in this tread ;-)

OK, to be REALLY fair, how free is free? I mean, even W3schools has
banner ads when traversing their "free" HTML tutorial that sell
everything from college courses to web hosting. Still others might
offer "free" training as a loss leader to entice you to sign up for more
"for charge" training. I commend BCD for trying to create yet another
opportunity for IBM i folks to learn how to modernize and regardless of
your approach HTML is essential, right? I find it really easy to
minimize the window while commercials are running. I get lots of
practice doing that when I am getting caught up on my TV shows online
line "Fringe" and "House".

Now can we get someone to attend the session and report back as to how
useful it is? I think that would be a far more interesting topic for
discussion.

Regards,

Mike

Well, to be fair, the company's website actually looks like this:
http://www.bcdsoftware.com/index.htm

What gets me is being required to watch their "commercials" as part of
the seminar. It reminds me of those "free" vacations where you have to
attend a seminar about investing in time-share vacation properties. :-)
