I'm not following you here. XSL is used to transform an XML document to
another form, such as HTML. What would you be using as your source to
translate? The final document would ultimately be HTML since that is what
the browser expects. XSL would be add another layer and slow things down a
bit.

Hi everyone,
I had a brief go at learning php a while ago and managed to make my first
personal web application with mysql. I didn't get very far, but was
reasonably satisfied with the result. Since then, my company has had me
trained in XSL. For the simple reason that now I can program in XSL rather
than PHP, I was thinking of developing my site in XSL and XML. Is it
possible to mix XSL or XML with php? If the adress of my page is
http://:mySite.php, where will be the references to my XSL or XML files?
Will I have to generate XML from php code with a reference to my XSL file?
Will the server generate the XML then process the XSL? Is there a simpler
way for me? I was hoping to keep the php/mysql that I've developped so far.
