Can you use QShell to invoke the Unix ls command?
e.g. ls -1>dir.txt

The command above will produce a text file of all files in the current
directory.

Hi list:

I have the need to have a page created ("quick and dirty") that will
always list the content of a specific folder in the IFS. All of the files
will be .PDFs. They files will have very descriptive names, like
"2009-12-11 - Sales Report - Exchange Rate Impact". I just need to make
sure that I have an accurate list of the files in that folder every time I
visit that page. A program on the iSeries will create the report and we
will place the .PDF in the folder.

Your recommendations and advises are welcomed!

Best regards to all!
