If you're not too attached to your PHP setup, you might have less heartache downloading Zend Core for DB2.

Subject: Re: [WEB400] db2_open from WAMP

I am sure of almost nothing...
I guess that the dll is for LUW, not the i.

I have to buy IBM DB2 connect?

So far as I am aware, unless something dramatic has changed, to access
DB2 on i or MVS, you need to use DRDA, and that requires IBM DB2 Connect
for the WAMP platform.

DB2 for LUW supports TCP connections, i and mainframe DB2, don't.

Are you sure that the php_ibm_db2.dll is for IBM i DB2? Or just DB2
under LUW?

HELP!!!

I think I have asked this before,
but has someone got the DB2_xxxx (connecting to System i) commands
working from windows?

I am trying to config PHP to load the php_ibm_db2.dll, but
it can't find the "specified module"...

Out on the web I see examples of actually downloading DB2 onto the
WAMP pc, but that doesn't seem to be what I want.

Has anybody done this?
