The biggest difference I've seen is the fact that Net.Data decomposes
the POST data, so you really can't do SOAP web services with it. Then
mix in everything else the other posters said.

We are working on slowly migrating our Net.Data apps to a new
environment. We picked Java, but we probably would have gone PHP if it
were available earlier.
