further info - I re-read the request:
... the third-party plug-in I use within Dreamweaver for the PHP form requires me to have a connection to the host server so it can write the proper code on the PHP output..... so, in order for me to get the form working, I have to setup a connection through Dreamweaver....

Have a customer whose web developer is using Dreamweaver PHP which has it's own internal ftp and wants to "synchronize" the placement of code in our ifs for Apache to run. Sounds fine to me but so far he does not have it working yet. Anything to watch out for? does it understand our IFS?
(and he wants to do it tonight..
